BIG
VOICE -
the Story of an
Accidental Alto
This is Moya's autobiographical show, based around her
life-changing discovery, at the tender age of 35, that she could
sing. Be taken on a joyous and hazardous journey from London
suburbs to East London slums, from multicultural Sydney to
Canberra cabaret. She gives song and voice to the
colourful characters she meets along the way and charts the lows
that stopped her singing to the
highs she feels when she took the plunge to find her voice all
over again. With jazz saxophonist Sandy Evans. Directed by John
Bolton. Supported by ACT government.
